Thinking Environment courses
Start your Thinking Environment journey
We are accredited by Time to Think and offer various training courses. The Foundation and Thinking Partnership are the most popular, but we also offer the qualifying programmes for Coaches and Facilitators.
Foundation Course®
This course offers a wonderful introduction to the Thinking Environment. You will learn about and experience the conditions required for truly independent thinking (the ten components of a Thinking Environment) and learn nine key applications of these principles to take into your work.
You will also see a demonstration of a Thinking Partnership Session, to see for yourself how transformational it can be.
Upcoming Course Dates
- 21st and 22nd January 2026
- 14th and 15th May 2026
- 16th and 17th September 2026
- 5th and 6th November 2026
This can also be arranged on demand for groups or teams.
The Facilitation Programme
The Facilitation programme builds on the Foundation course, deepening deepen your practice of the Ten Components and learning how to use them as a complete system that transforms group meetings into spaces where independent thinking flourishes and genuine solutions emerge.
Through the course and supervised practicum work, you'll become qualified to deliver the Transforming Meetings™ programme professionally as a certified Time to Think Facilitator, giving you access to the Time to Think collegiate.
If you want to master the art of facilitating meetings that people actually look forward to, meetings where every voice matters and the best ideas rise to the surface, this is for you.
Upcoming course dates:
7th and 8th May then 5th June 2026
Thinking Partnership®
This is the introductory course to one-to-one work in a Thinking Environment. It offers the opportunity to learn and experience the Thinking Partnership Session, a uniquely powerful process for liberating the human mind.
This course will teach you to observe different ways that we think, support others to think really well, and in turn give you understanding that will deepen connection with those around you.
Upcoming Course Dates
12th & 13th February then 13th March 2026
Coaching
The conversations that change everything start with the quality of your attention.
This four-day course takes you deeper into the practice you began on the Thinking Partnership Course. You'll refine your ability to be a Thinking Partner and discover how generative attention can truly ignite the thinking of those around you, whether in formal coaching sessions or anywhere else that a real conversation matters.
As well as learning the skills to be a great Thinking Partner, you'll also have time and space to think for yourself on what matters most to you. Time to reclaim your own independence as a thinker.
Through supervised practicum work after the course, you can qualify as a Time to Think Coach and join the Time to Think Collegiate.
This is for you if you want to use the Thinking Session in your coaching practice, or simply to deepen your understanding of the Thinking Partnership Session® and transform the quality of your conversations.
Upcoming dates
19th and 20th October then 18th and 19th November 2026
Mentorship Programme
Development and mentorship is hard. It's often assumed that because we have experience, that alone equips us to mentor others. But our need to impart our own knowledge, give advice, and our well intentioned desire to not let others make the "same mistakes as we did" can often be stifling.
This programme offers an entirely different perspective on the relationship between mentor and mentee. You will attend the course together, and learn together how to listen more deeply, and so understand each other far more effectively.
You will learn how to uncover the real issues, and think about them together. Respectfully, thoughtfully, and effectively.
Upcoming course dates
Currently this course is running on demand only. Please get in touch if you are interested in being added to the list of future participants.
This course can be arranged on demand for groups and teams.
